"Yi Lu Fa" was a game designed in Chicago, created in Australia, and the overhead attract animation was created in India. I lead the attract animation in Chicago which included weekly early morning Skype meetings with the India studio. The designer supplied a written summary of what he wanted and I story boarded the 3D animation in addition to directing the team.
I drew these boards and timed them out in After Effects as part of a mock up that helped inform the outsourced team in India.
These are the sorts of "before and after" notes I would supply the team in an effort to guide the look of the final 3D render.
