I use a hodge podge of digital animation techniques favoring a pose to pose style.  I'm no stranger to character libraries and parented comps and layers of nested symbols.  Animation is boarded or posed then built in Animate, Photoshop, and After Effects.  I tend to prefer things like "classic tweens" and framerates at 24fps or lower but it all depends on the project.
